Job Description
We are offering a compelling opportunity for a Senior Superintendent Specialized Dignity Protection Investigations (DPI) within our Security team. This role involves assisting the Section Manager Dignity Protection Investigations in overseeing complex investigations and information gathering activities relating to bullying, harassment and victimization on behalf of Valterra Platinum Ltd. The position reports to the Section Manager : Dignity Protection Investigations. The successful candidate will apply best practices in investigative and information gathering techniques to investigate reported cases with the aim of addressing the company’s zero-tolerance approach towards bullying, harassment and victimization within the workplace.
Your Day-to-day Duties
- Manage and coordinate work and plans for the DPI team through liaison with the Section Manager DPI
- Plan and schedule investigative work within DPI
- Conduct high-profile and high-value investigations
- Liaise with the Section Manager DPI on investigation strategy and policies
- Monitor and advise on security tools, techniques and methodologies to support business initiatives
- Manage information gathering systems to support management decision making and protection of employees
- Contribute ideas for DPI decisions
- Identify opportunities to improve security and investigative approaches within the Operational Area
- Support the development and acceptance of business plans and strategies within the unit
- Deliver awareness programs to various sites across the business
- Develop and implement BVH prevention and response programs aligned with international best practices
- Ensure survivor-centered approaches in all interventions, focusing on confidentiality, safety, and empowerment
- Coordinate multi-sectoral responses for survivors (medical, legal, psychosocial, and protection services as needed)
- Monitor and evaluate program activities to ensure services meet survivor needs and objectives
- Promote a positive work environment and ethical standards
- Present cases during disciplinary processes on behalf of the employer

Qualifications
Grade 12National Diploma in Security Management or equivalent to Investigations / RPLRelevant experience in BHV, dignity or gender-based violence investigations is advantageousPSIRA registration (Grade A)Valid driver’s license (Code B)Experience Required
Minimum 6 years’ experience in Security / SAPS or equivalent, with at least 5 years in investigation / crime information analysisAbility to travel extensively between Valterra Platinum sitesComputer literacy and good command of English (written and spoken)You Will Also Need To Have
