Product Designer

JHiring : Product Designer (Cape Town and Johannesburg)

What You’ll Do

• Take full ownership of UX / UI design across mobile and web platforms
• Translate user needs and product strategy into wireframes, prototypes, and final high-fidelity designs
• Create and maintain a scalable design system and ensure consistency across the product
• Work closely with Product Owners and Engineers throughout the build process to ensure high-quality implementation
• Run user research, usability testing, and post-launch evaluations to inform and refine design choices
• Use best practices and competitor analysis to solve complex design challenges efficiently
• Collaborate with external design resources and gradually build and mentor an internal team
• Contribute to shaping the overall product experience and long-term design vision
