Minimum requirements :
- 1+ years of experience in a Control Room, IT Helpdesk, or Technical Support role
- Zabbix Certified Specialist (For system monitoring). Or (Equivalent Monitoring Tools)
- CompTIA A+ (Technical support fundamentals). Or (Equivalent IT Support Certifications)
- Strong knowledge of incident monitoring, system troubleshooting, and report logging
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure, network basics, and ticketing systems
- Proficiency in using control room monitoring tools and Microsoft Office
Key responsibilities :
Real-time System Monitoring & Incident Response
Monitor network systems, weighbridges, security systems, and IT infrastructureIdentify and escalate issues related to connectivity, software failures, and operational disruptionsProactively detect and log site failures, network downtimes, or security alertsRespond to critical alarms and system events with urgency and accuracyTechnical Support & Troubleshooting
Act as first-line support for operational and IT-related issuesTroubleshoot basic hardware, software, and network connectivity problemsProvide remote assistance to on-site teams when requiredEscalate unresolved technical issues to Tier 2 SupportIncident Logging & Reporting
Log all incidents, requests, and system anomaliesMaintain shift reports, weighbridge logs, and hourly monitoring recordsEscalation of critical issues based on SLA guidelinesAssist in data validation, report accuracy, and process improvement initiativesCommunication & Coordination
Serve as the communication hub between Tier 1, Tier 2, and on-site teamsConduct structured shift handovers to ensure operational continuityCoordinate with security personnel, network engineers, and IT teams as neededCompliance & Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
