Duties :

• Managing and overseeing wildlife centre
• Rehabilitation management
• Animal release timelines and management
• Environmental management
• Staff and roster management
• Animal administration management
• Overall administration management
• Overall stock management
• Overall animal checks and health management
• Logistics management
• Finance management
• Risk management
• Clinic management
• Animal care management
• Infrastructure management
• Student guidance and training
Requirements :
• Grade 12
• Diploma in Wildlife Management / Certificate in wildlife rehabilitation
• At least 2 3 years experience in wildlife habitat management
• Experience in budgeting, record keeping and financial management
• ETDP registration will be an advantage
• Knowledge of wildlife management principles and practices
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Able to ensure that legal requirements are complied with
• Able to maintain a high level of security
• Decision making abilities
• Able to work independently as well as, as a team member
• Good problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in the use of wildlife management related programs
