Business Manager / Chartered Accountant

A socially responsible housing enterprise based in Durban, dedicated to providing quality housing solutions to the community, and committed to ensuring safe and sustainable living environments for all, with a tenant base of approximately 1,964 units, is actively seeking an experienced Business Manager / Chartered Accountant.

As the Business Manager / Chartered Accountant, the successful individual will hold a dual role, combining strategic business management with financial expertise to drive the success and sustainability of the organisation. Reporting directly to the CEO, these are the key responsibilities :

Duties & Responsibilities

• Supervision of finance team including Accountant General, Accountant Debtors, and Creditors Clerk
• Review of monthly finance reports, payroll, and VAT
• Presentation of management accounts to the CEO on a monthly basis
• Review of quarterly reports submitted to SHRA
• Assistance with preparation for board meetings and audit preparation
• Implementation of processes to ensure compliance with SHRA regulations.

Basic Salary - R50 000 PM, depending on experience.
