Job descriptionDuties:
Oversee the daily operations of the pool area to maintain a high standard of service and cleanliness.
Supervise and co-ordinate the pool team, including lifeguards, waiters, and barmen, ensuring smooth and efficient service throughout the day.
Greet and assist members and guests, providing attentive and friendly service.
Ensure guests are comfortably settled and have access to food and beverage service.
Monitor pool safety, cleanliness, and setup of loungers, umbrellas, and towels.
Uphold club service standards and respond promptly to guest requests or concerns.
Manage stock levels for towels, cleaning supplies, and poolside refreshments.
Liaise with the Food & Beverage and Housekeeping teams to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements:
Matric/Diploma or qualification
Hospitality or equivalent advantageous.
Ability to Swim
Previous hospitality experience, preferably in a Country Club, Resort, or Hotel environment.
Personal Skills and Attributes
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Well-groomed, professional, and reliable.
Drivers license with own transport.
Guest-focused attitude with excellent interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays. After hours and during peak seasons.
