Junior Software Developer

Overview

Newsclip Media Monitoring is seeking to employ Software Developers. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing applications for Newsclip products. Perform detailed system analysis and software design before writing any code. Ensure design fits in with business requirements. Identify possible test scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Documentation : Functional Specifications, Architecture Specifications, Technical Specifications, User acceptance testing scripts.
• Work Breakdown Schedule : Ensure work is in line with the work breakdown schedule. Provide feedback to relevant stakeholders regarding progress.
• Testing : Write comprehensive unit tests. Conduct software tests whilst developing (Test Driven Development). Implement corrections / changes as identified. Provide support to the Quality Assurance Testing Process to ensure timely completion. Ensure all unit tests pass before releasing code.
• Development : Maintain knowledge and keep abreast of latest technology trends. Implementation of latest tech.
