A leading Animal Health company has a vacancy for a Sales Representative to sell designated product lines to an agreed portfolio of customers; veterinary practices as well as Specialty Pet Retail shops in PE.
Job Purpose :
- The person in role is required to develop mutually beneficial and productive long term partnerships with their customers and to maintain these relationships with the appropriate quantity & quality of activity.
- Deliver at least agreed sales targets growth and market share gains for specified product lines.
- This role contributes to the overall success of the company by delivering against sales growth & market share gain targets for the designated product lines
Location : Eastern Cape and Garden Route. (Candidate to reside in Gqebhera / Port Elizabeth)

Planning
Maintain high level of expertise with the evolving portfolio of products services pricing competition market and industry trendsEnsure customer information and call reports are continuously updated through CRM systemAlign activities and account plans to marketing programmes and management direction in line with the Solution Selling modelAnalyse and interpret actual and potential territory / customer sales and growth opportunities to support delivery of sales targetsRelationships :
Develop mutually beneficial and productive long-term partnerships with their customers based on high quality account plansContribute to the success of your team by sharing best practice with colleagues and proactively contributing ideasCall activity
Deliver call activity in accordance with agreed KPIs to achieve the required coverage and frequency with identified target customersEnsure clear and specific objectives exist for each individual callDeliver relevant marketing messages product information and programmes consistent with management direction in line with Solution Selling modelProactively identify customer opportunities and capitalize on themAccurately record call activity in the CRM system in line with company guidanceEnsure clear and timely follow up plan is in place and actionedCompliance

3 - 5 years previous sales experience is preferredKnowledge of the veterinary / pharmaceutical industry is an advantage.Proven achievements in salesKey account management experience is advantageous.Travel Requirement
High frequency of travel within regionValid drivers licenseMust have own vehicleTravel outside of territory from time to time.Manage far run territory 4 / 6 weekly.May be requested to work extended hours and weekends for special program events and / or training.
