Qualifications and Experience :
National Certificate in Occupationally Directed Education Training and Development Practices (ODETDP 50334) OR Completed Unit Standards 123394; 115755; 123401.3-5 years of experience in learning material design and development.English speaking.A certificate (local or international) in the ADDIE or SAM design model-AdvantageousPostgraduate / Honours Degree in Human Resource Development-AdvantageousRegistration with a Human Resource professional body such as the SABPP-AdvantageousKey Responsibilities :
Collaborate with business Subject Matter Experts to identify and obtain course objectives and content.Collaborate with other roles in the team and business stakeholders, negotiating timelines and drawing up project plans where necessary.Work closely with Facilitators / Assessors / Moderators, to validate learning material and maximise learner engagement / participation.Design and development of a variety of Blended learning and eLearning materials, Including but not limited to curricula, matrices, theory content, class activities, assessments instruments and rollout schedulesApply tested instructional design theories, practices, and methods.Develop memorandums and guides of the course for Facilitators, Assessors and Moderators.Understand and keep abreast of Quality Council policies insofar as they affect the design of learning materials.Work with graphic designers to ensure the application of the Corporate Identity in relation to learning materials.Own licensing & access to Microsoft 365 suite (Teams, Word etc.)Own Laptop / computer requiredSkills :
Subject Matter Expert in the design of learning material in the Occupational Learning System.Above average communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.Detail oriented & constantly striving for qualityStrong planning skills.Excellent ability to create effective learning materialsA basic understanding of project managementAbility to work both independently and interdependently.A creative mindset coupled with the ability to solve problems.Human Resources jobs
