integration, verification, validation Define system‑of‑systems KPIs for performance, reliability, and security Serve as technical authority for system architecture decisions Design integration frameworks for data, analytics, and external systems Support digital twins and MBSE methodologies Leverage ISO 15288 and INCOSE SE Handbook standards Collaborate with engineering, security, operations, and product teams Act as primary interface with enterprise customers Explore AI / ML, edge computing, and 5G integration Drive continuous improvement of reliability, security, and cost efficiency Produce system blueprints, integration roadmaps, and security frameworks Ensure functional safety and cybersecurity compliance Bachelor’s or Master’s in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field 7+ years of systems engineering experience in large‑scale interconnected systems Proficiency in SoS concepts, MBSE tools (SysML, MagicDraw, Cameo) Strong understanding of IoT architectures, cloud platforms, and real‑time protocols Leadership and stakeholder management skills INCOSE CSEP / ESEP certification Experience with vehicle telematics protocols (CAN, MQTT, GPS, LTE, 5G) Knowledge of edge‑to‑cloud architectures and cybersecurity frameworks Model‑Based Systems Engineering expertise Systems integration experience across hardware, software, cloud, and IoT devices Cloud & Edge Computing experience (AWS, Azure, GCP) Communication protocol knowledge (CAN, MQTT, GPS, LTE, 5G) Risk assessment and mitigation skills Data‑driven decision making and analytics Cross‑functional leadership and mentorship Stakeholder management and vendor engagement Technical mentorship Internal : D365 Team, Integration Developers, Product Managers, Business Analysts, Solution Architects, DevOps Engineers, Project Managers External : Vendors, third‑party system providers (as required) Monitor network infrastructure and produce daily statistics Maintain understanding of internet technologies : DNS, security, routing, HTTP, VPN, email routing, spam suppression Configure and set up Cisco firewalls, VPN concentrators, security appliances Design, setup, and configure complex switching and wireless environments Assist in design of multi‑server environments Install and upgrade network software Maintain multi‑site operations and software applications Monitor projects and deliver services to agreed objectives Provide technical assistance and support to staff and vendors Supervise administration of systems and servers Troubleshoot hardware, software, telephone, security system malfunctions Assist in IT budget preparation related to WAN / LAN infrastructure Implement proactive measures and suggest improvements Prepare reports for management Provide after‑hours onsite support on rotational basis Assist with daily network operations Document network checks and incidents Train and guide staff Maintain documentation of configurations and standard operating procedures Ensure availability of network services to authorized users Maintain relevant certifications (CCNA, CCNP, etc.) Travel to regional offices as required Grade 12 (minimum) Completed network qualification (CCNA or higher) and relevant experience At least 5 years relevant IT experience in WAN / LAN / Server environment Academic qualifications such as BCom Informatics (advantageous) Physical transportation required Lead a team of IT engineers Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills Technical and analytical competencies Report writing and user support Knowledge of networking tools and protocols Minimum 3 years senior network engineer experience Strong analytic and problem‑solving skills In-depth knowledge of Layer 2 protocols, SD‑I, VLANs, VPNs, routing, load balancers, NAC, wireless, Cisco ISE, Cisco Spaces Proficiency in Microsoft environment Experience in diagnosing and resolving WAN / LAN issues in a fast‑paced environment Understanding of network security risks and attack vectors Capability in capacity planning forecasts Experience in managing and monitoring network security Ability to work standby and after‑hours support Experience in cabling management (CAT6, fibre) Excellence in inter‑personal skills Certifications : CCNA, CCNP (Enterprise), Networking+ (CompTIA) CCNP (Security) Firewall certification (Checkpoint / Palo Alto) F5 certifications Design, deploy, maintain, monitor, support, and manage changes for customer and core services (firewalls, telephony, WAN, LAN) Resolve escalations from Tier 1 and Tier 2 engineers Assist with new deployments, service activations, upgrades, and downgrades Plan, document, and execute changes under formal change control processes Monitor systems and communication platforms to prevent issues Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve critical faults Document troubleshooting, resolutions, deployments, and changes Provide updates to customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders Improve processes and services by identifying recurring issues Mentor and support Tier 1 and Tier 2 engineers Handle customer engagement, tickets, or escalations professionally Clarify client functional and / or technical requirements Deliver functional and / or technical solutions to client challenges Ensure implemented solutions meet client requirements and quality standards Grow system analysis competence through continuous learning B.Sc. Honours Financial Mathematics or B.Sc. Actuarial Science B.Sc. Honours Computer Science or B.Eng. Electrical / Electronic Engineering (or equivalent) 3+ years experience in FIS Front Arena, Murex Capital Markets subject matter knowledge across asset classes FIS Front Arena or similar systems knowledge Business Analysis fundamentals and system configuration / development fundamentals Requirements gathering and solution design System configuration, documentation, testing, and verification Stakeholder engagement and prioritisation Communication and interpersonal skills Collaboration and teamwork Qualifications in related fields (e.g., Project Management, Network Administration) Experience in network engineering, security, and cloud solutions Excellent troubleshooting and client‑facing skills
