Senior Lecturer / Lecturer / Oral Hygienist

The Faculty of Dentistry is a world-class Oral Health Centre committed to the promotion of oral health through excellence of its Teaching & Learning, service rendering and research. The Faculty seeks professionally qualified candidates for a post of Senior Lecturer / Lecturer in Oral Hygiene on the conditions of service of the University of the Western Cape.

Responsibilities will include :

• Teaching and training on the clinical platform
• Clinical teaching of undergraduate students
• Under and post-graduate supervision
• Active participation in research and publications
• Administrative duties related to the post
• Rendering services to patients at all platforms serviced by the Faculty of Dentistry
• Participation in Community Engagement activities

Minimum Requirements

The Academic level of the appointment will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
