Area Manager - Microlending / Microloans Sector R400 000 CTC to R600 000 CTC per annum

Duties & Responsibilities

As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing our microlending operations in your assigned area. You will manage a team of loan officers, ensure efficient and profitable loan distribution, and execute our mission to transform lives through access to finance. • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve microlending targets in the designated area.
• Construct and manage an efficient loan officer team, ensuring compliance with lending policies and best practices.
• Drive loan portfolio growth through effective marketing and business development strategies.
• Monitor loan collections and implement strategies to minimize defaults.
• Foster relationships with local communities, partners, and stakeholders to enhance our presence and promote financial inclusion.
• Conduct regular market research to identify emerging trends, assess market demand, and identify potential opportunities for expansion.
• Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and performance management to the loan officer team.
• Collaborate with the leadership team to streamline operational processes, improve efficiency, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Prepare area-level reports, including loan disbursement, recovery, and portfolio performance, for review by the senior management.

Package & Remuneration

R400 000 CTC to R600 000 CTC per annum based on experience and qualifications.
