Systech International is a highly successful, privately owned consultancy business with a 25-year track record in the niche market of construction claims and dispute management. Systech’s headquarters are in London and it employs 500+ staff through a network of regional and branch offices worldwide. Systech is currently appointed on projects around South Africa mainly in the infrastructure sectors. Our assignments range from short-term claim reviews to carrying out full and detailed quantum analysis in the preparation of claims documentation on major projects.

We regularly advise and support contractors in negotiating claims, as well as in Adjudications and longer dispute processes such as Arbitration. Systech’s highly successful business model means that we are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Senior Claims Consultant to become part of the dispute management team. You should be able to demonstrate an excellent track record in preparing and writing claims for contractors, as well as representation in follow-up claims and dispute negotiations.

Candidate Requirements :

• Must have BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying or equivalent construction related degree with RICS membership
• Should have experience of (or have been trained in) the UK construction market along with some international work experience
• Ideally have prior experience of working with Claims Consultancies undertaking preparation, negotiation and presentation of delay and disruption claims
• Must be able to demonstrate the necessary experience and expertise in producing delay & disruption claims
• Minimum 5-10 years of major infrastructure project experience
• Strong oral / written communication and presentation skills and an excellent organizer with proven time management skills
• UK passport holders preferred (preferable for foreign worker visa requirements). Other nationalities will be considered (visa restrictions may apply in some locations)
• Have a strong interest in working in the dispute field for a British company throughout South Africa
• Single Status, mobile and flexible
• Excellent IT skills
