Head of Finance | Centurion

An opportunity is available for a

Head of Finance to provide strategic leadership and financial oversight for a company's financial planning division . The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the sustained profitability of the business .

The ideal candidate will have a postgraduate degree in accounting, financial management, or management accounting, and be a registered chartered accountant with the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants . An MBA is preferred .

Key requirements include :

Experience : 5-8 years of post-qualification experience in financial management within the insurance and financial services industry, with 3-5 years in a management role .

Knowledge : Familiarity with the financial services, health, insurance, and investment industries, including relevant regulatory requirements . You must also have knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and risk management principles .

The role involves leading the finance function, driving a client-centric environment, and overseeing budgeting and financial reporting processes . The individual will also be responsible for leading and managing a team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development .
