Technical Application Specialist

Location : Free State

Experience : 0–2 years | Graduate Opportunity

R20K basic + Car Allowance + Company Benefits

Are you a recent graduate in Food Science or Food Technology with a passion for innovation and hands-on technical support? Join our client, a leader in the food processing industry, and bring your knowledge to life in a high-impact, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Deliver technical support across Co-Ex, Equipment, and Ingredients product portfolios. Collaborate with Sales Managers and customers, run product trials, drive innovation, and support new product launches.
Conduct technical product trials, demos & applications
Troubleshoot and support customers on-site
Train Area Sales Managers and support commercial success
Run technical projects and contribute to R&D & innovation
Ensure compliance with HACCP, ISO and food safety standards

Qualifications

Technical Application Specialist, Food Technology, or Food Engineering (graduates welcome!)

Willingness to travel nationally

Valid driver’s licence

Exposure to food product development, processing, or application work

Afrikaans proficiency is a bonus
