Job descriptionCoordinate daily and weekly maintenance planning meetings. Place orders, received and control maintenance spare parts. Control and manage maintenance store (stock levels). Liaise with maintenance suppliers for breakdown resolutions (quotations annual inspections of Ensure equipment compliance with safety and legal requirements. (Load certification cherry pickers Ensure plant equipment calibrations including gas units’ calibrations pressure vessels. Ensure maintenance quality system is adhered to through certification compliance. Support cross functional departments through administrative activities (Green Card System Plan and support organisational safety audits. Support the procurement department to secure multiple services providers for competitiveness. Adhered to health & safety requirements and standards as per Company policy and standards. Wears protective clothing as required by the OHS act. Ensure immediate working environment is clean and tidy at all times. Uses correct disposal bins for waste at all times. Zero IOD’s, unsafe or hazardous conditions. Perform all tasks in accordance with the Group Health, Safety and Environmental (SHE) policies Conduct monthly safety improvements and audits National Diploma Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or NQF Level 6 Artisan Qualification (Trade : Mechanical Fitter / Millwright) is preferred 3-5 years’ experience in the same role Advanced Computer literacy Must have own transport Must be available to work on standby Demonstrate good planning and organization skills. Trustworthy and Honest. Be able to work in a pressured environment. Be able to understand, complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
To plan and coordinate all planned maintenance activities performed at the site to optimise manufacturing plants
