SayPro invites exceptional and visionary individuals to join our dynamic Community Leaders Fellowship Programme under the Strategic Partnerships Division. This fellowship is crafted for those passionate about driving sustainable change, influencing public policy, and empowering community-based governance systems.

As a SayPro Community Leaders Fellow , you will actively shape the future of service delivery, infrastructure, education, urban development, and social upliftment across South Africa through strategic partnerships and local leadership networks.

• ???? Key Responsibilities

Fellows will contribute to the monthly and quarterly strategic priorities of the Community Leaders division, including :

• Building and maintaining partnerships with municipalities, government departments, civil society, and community-based organisations .
• Leading and supporting initiatives in :

Urban Planning & Human Settlements

• Climate Action & Resilience
• Community Policing, Disaster Management & Public Safety
• Digital Innovation, Knowledge Management & ICT
• Performance Management & Governance
• Legal, Policy, and Human Rights Advocacy
• Infrastructure Development, Water & Energy Access
• Education, Library, Recreation, Parks & Early Childhood Development
• Environmental Sustainability & Waste Management
• Designing and delivering capacity-building workshops , consultations, and reports for key stakeholders.
• Facilitating community forums, strategic meetings, citizen engagement , and development projects.
• Supporting data collection, performance tracking, strategic communications, and internal learning.

✅ Requirements

We’re looking for candidates who are :

• South African citizens aged 22–45
• Holders of a Bachelor’s degree or advanced diploma in areas such as Public Policy, Development Studies, Urban Management, Environmental Science, Social Work, IT, Engineering, Law, Human Resources , or related
• Demonstrated interest in community development, leadership, and partnerships
• Skilled in project coordination, research, public communication , and stakeholder engagement
• Fluent in English (and preferably one or more South African languages)
• Comfortable working in field, office, and remote environments
