Mission

Purpose

  • To ensure a smooth handover transition from BOC to the concessionaire.
  • Coordinate and support divisions on handover readiness.
  • Ensure handover plan is in line with contractual obligations.
  • Principal Accountabilities

  • Stakeholder engagement addressing and management  issues related to handover.
  • Ensuring that each division conducts and reports on the divisional handover simulations.
  • Track the status and progress of all handover activities by verifying updates from the divisional heads.
  • Manage and direct the handover committee
  • Coordinate activities from the Project Handover team.
  • Provide update on handover readiness and challenges to EXCO
  • Specific Responsibilities

  • Oversee the weekly handover committee meeting.
  • Ensure all divisions are conducting handover simulations in line with the contractual obligations.
  • Review the divisional handover simulation reports.
  • Track and ensure division’s are updating and closing out gaps identified in the simulations
  • Identify and advise on risks associated with the handover plan.
  • Monitor and manage key handover milestones and ensure divisions provide updates accordingly.
  • Understands complex requirements and simplify them in a way that can be shared with others.
  • Understands Contracts management and effective delivery on all obligations agreed to.
  • Responsible for preparation of the Weekly Progress Report for discussion with the handover committee members and relevant stakeholders.
  • Profile

    Educational Level

  • Transport Management, Project Management or Engineering Degree Plus, a Post Graduate Diploma or Degree in Leadership
  • Years of Experience

  • At minimum of 8 - 10 years’ experience in the transportation industry or technical relevant industry / environment
  • PPP understanding is advantageous
  • Sufficient experience in handover of a contract / project.
