Job descriptionProven expertise in warehouse and logistics management, ideally in the industrial / manufacturing sector. Strong understanding of supply chain processes and inventory management systems. Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills. Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively. Ideally coming from the Manufacturing and production industry within refrigeration / cooling Knowledge of relevant compliance and safety regulations. Competency in using logistics and warehouse management software. Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Comprehensive medical aid, provident fund, and pension benefits. The Warehouse and Logistics Manager :
- Manage daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance with safety standards.
- Oversee the logistics process, including transportation, storage, and distribution of goods.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimise supply chain performance.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock control processes.
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Analyse logistics data to identify areas for improvement and cost savings.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
- Lead and manage a team, fostering a culture of efficiency and accountability.
