Candidate Requirements : Minimum of 5 years' experience as a General Manager within a luxury Hotel Must have Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate Hospitality Diploma or Degree preferable Valid RSA ID is required Drivers License beneficial, or access to reliable transport Proven track record with Front of House and / or F&B management Good command of the English language, be well spoken and presentable Be guest-centric ensuring great experiences for guests An innovative and creative individual A strong leader with experience in managing a team Have good interpersonal skills Able to build relationships within the team, with guests and in the community Have excellent administrative skills, be able to plan and manage effectively Be computer literate and have good financial skills Knowledge of Hotel PMS, POS and stock systems required Work well under pressure and have good problem solving skills Be diligent, self motivated and be able to meet deadlines promptly Willingness to teach, inspire and motivate others Live out, meals provided when on duty
