Candidate Requirements :
- At least 35 years in luxury lodge or hotel management.
- Proven ability to deliver exceptional guest service and personalized experiences.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage guest expectations and complaints gracefully.
- Proficient in managing lodge operations
- Familiarity with lodge management software
- Strong HR skills : hiring, performance management, conflict resolution, and staff welfare.
- Ability to live and work closely with a team in a remote environment.
- One or both should be FGASA-qualified with full trails
- Strong couple dynamic with clear division of roles and mutual support
Role 1 :
Oversees all aspects of property maintenance, including infrastructure, vehicles, water systems, and solar or generator operations.Conducts regular inspections, preventative maintenance, and emergency repairs to ensure safety and functionality.FGASA qualifications and assist with guest activities, bush walks, or game drives, depending on the propertys offering.Manages workshop inventory, liaises with contractors, and ensures compliance with environmental and safety standards.Role 2 :
Manages front-of-house operations, including guest hosting, dining experiences, and service delivery.Oversees food and beverage planning, stock control, supplier coordination, and kitchen team support.Handles reservations, guest communication, reporting, and financial administrationLeads staff scheduling, training, and performance management, fostering a positive team culture and high service standards.Live-in position
