RESPONSIBILITY OF JOB : The incumbent is mainly responsible for onsite maintenance of a fuel management system on site.Main Job Functions : The core responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following : Perform fault diagnostics and error analysisInstall and commissioning of the company productsRepair, remove, inspection and servicing of the company productsEnsure that the company equipment in good working order and conditionEnsure that the equipment is maintained and repaired / installed in accordance with the OEM requirements and specifications RKCompile a schedule for preventative maintenance on the fixed fuel management system, which will be distributed to all relevant Customer partiesAssist with mini projects run in maintenanceSupport and assist the Database Specialist with investigations and solutions as necessaryPerform administrative tasks such as keeping records of all new installed equipment, maintaining vehicle log books, maintaining technician onsite reports (TOS) up to date, ensuring that job cards are completed timeously, correctly and handed in for invoicing.Keep track of stock and perform regular stock countsAssist customer with technical advice on the company productsBe responsible to inform the Customer representative of any equipment that have become obsolete or are beyond economical repairSupport the Marketing effort of products to customersAct as Site Managerply with all the Customers rules and regulations and policies such health, safety, quality and environment and will adhere to all safe working proceduresEnsure that all medical fitness and induction documents as required by the Customer including the Contractors Pack are up to date as well as make the necessary appointments and arrangements when it comes up for renewalReport on a daily basis to the appointed Customer representative before commencing his / her daily work responsibilitiesWill be required to attend weekly / monthly safety meetings as required by the mine.FORMAL TRAINING REQUIRED : Electrical Trade Test required.Electro-mechanical or instrumentation experience required.Code 8 License
