Responsibilities :
Develop, implement and evaluate national key accounts strategies detailing all operational and key account objectivesAnalyse research, negotiate and implement annual co-op spend ROINegotiate annual trading terms in line with business planNegotiate ranging, new listings, price and promotional activity with regional and national buyers by key accountBuild and maintain strong and effective relationships with all key people at key accountsEvaluate all promotionsEnsure all new products are launched correctly and effectively in line with marketing's strategy and requirementsManage performance of the group and ensure all roles and responsibilities are defined for all resourcesMonitor pricing accuracy and implement price increases within set time parameters to prevent claimsEnsure optimal product and service levels through Selling AgentsProvide direction on promotional plans, pricing and product launches in line with Sales & Marketing strategyAnalyse and communicate all market and competitor information to Marketing, as well as highlighting opportunitiesCorrect positioning on shelf in-line with Marketing objectivesManagement and implementation of planograms and layouts as set out by Trade MarketingRequirements
What are we looking for :
Grade 12 qualificationRelevant tertiary degree in Marketing or Sales; a background or qualification in Health Sciences is an advantageAt least 7 years of Key Accounts Management experience within the pharmacy sector, working with pharmacies and health-focused retail storesPrevious experience in dealing with Shoprite Checkers or Dischem as a Key AccountMinimum of 5 years of experience collaborating closely with independent pharmacy representatives and storesProven record of successful growth in key accounts for pharmacies and health storesSkilled in developing channel-specific strategies and implementing sales plans aligned with overall business objectivesStrong interpersonal skills to build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within pharmacy accountsIn-depth understanding of the pharmacy and healthcare retail landscape, customer behaviour and industry trendsPharmaceutical jobs
