Requirements
- BSc Engineering degree (Electrical / Mechanical) - NQF Level 8
- GCC Engineer certification (Government Certificate of Competency - Factories)
- GMR 2.1 legal appointment capability
- 10+ years' engineering experience including :
5 years in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering operations
3 years in technical leadership2 years in facilities managementECSA registration (advantageous)Code EB driver's license.Advanced proficiency in SAP, MS Office SuiteIntermediate CAD drawing skillsStrong problem-solving, planning, and decision-making capabilitiesProven ability to manage budgets, KPIs, and capital projectsDuties and Responsibilities
Serve as the GMR 2.1 appointee, ensuring all machinery operations meet OHSA requirements.Lead and manage engineering operations across electrical, mechanical, and facilities functions.Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.Oversee capital projects, budget management, and achievement of operational KPIs.Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.Develop and implement engineering strategies aligned with business objectives.Manage facility operations and maintenance programs.Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all engineering disciplines.Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.#J-18808-Ljbffr
