Job Description :
We are seeking an experienced and driven Business Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategic business plans to expand our market presence and drive sales growth. This role requires a professional who can identify new client opportunities, present tailored proposals for various insurance products, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities :
Develop new client relationships and maintain existing ones.
Formulate and implement strategic business development plans to achieve sales targets.
Identify opportunities for new campaigns, products, and distribution channels.
Analyze market trends and customer needs to create personalized sales approaches.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless customer service and problem resolution.
Maintain accountability for all business outcomes, adhering to governance and risk management standards.
Focus on selling a range of products, including Funeral products (sub-category A), Health, Credit Life, and Group Schemes (Voluntary and Involuntary).
Qualifications & Skills :
RE5 certification is required.
A minimum of 8 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing within the insurance industry.
Extensive experience with group schemes and long-term insurance products.
Proven track record as an Insurance Business Development Manager or a similar role.
Proficiency in MS Office and business software.
Strong strategic and business mindset with excellent negotiation and sales skills.
Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities.
Willingness to travel for client meetings.
