Solid understanding of keyword research, on-page SEO, and content optimization. Experience with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Google Analytics. Strong research skills — you can take complex topics and make them accessible. Excellent grammar, editing, and proofreading skills. Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects at once. Bonus points for experience in industries like home services, healthcare, or technology. What You’ll Do
- Write high-quality, engaging blog posts, landing pages, web copy, and other digital assets.
- Conduct keyword research and integrate SEO best practices seamlessly into your writing.
- Develop content strategies that align with client goals and audience needs.
- Optimize titles, meta descriptions, headers, and on-page elements for SEO performance.
- Collaborate with editors, content managers, and other writers to ensure quality and consistency.
- Stay up to date on SEO and AIO trends, Google algorithm changes, and industry best practices.
- Support content audits, updates, and improvements to boost visibility and ROI.
- Manage deadlines and contribute to the editorial calendar to keep projects on track.
