Logistics Packaging Specialist

Job Specification

Reporting to the Senior Manager Procurement, the incumbent would be responsible for the supply, logistics alignment and execution of Packing Material demand plans developed in conjunction with Fruit Exporters, Fruit Packhouses and Mega Growers.

The execution of these agreements includes :

• The integration of Supplier Production Plans, Category Demand Plans, Customer Pack Programs and Agrimark Stockholding Plans
• Co-ordinating logistics related to the flow of Packing Material from Suppliers & Agrimark DC’s to Packhouses and / or Growers
• Ensuring compliance to the agreed service levels
• Ensuring efficient supply related information sharing between stakeholders (Suppliers, BRM’s, Branch Managers, Exporters, Packhouses and Growers.)
• Resolving supply and logistics related queries and implementing ad hoc changes to plans timeously

The incumbent will support key stakeholders with the optimization of business processes to streamline the flow of Packing Material and to align packing material availability with pack programs.
