Job descriptionAt least 2-3 years of experience in the professional industry, ideally with experience in an accounting or auditing firm Independent Review : Conduct and manage independent reviews in accordance with relevant financial reporting frameworks and regulations. Compilation of AFS (Annual Financial Statements) : Prepare and compile accurate financial statements for clients. Provide tax planning advice and attend meetings with the South African Revenue Service (SARS) on behalf of clients. Oversee, mentor, and train junior clerks and other team members to ensure quality work and development within the team. Assist with any other ad-hoc tasks as required by the firm or clients. Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and auditing standards. Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with clients and SARS. High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively. Leadership and mentoring skills to guide junior staff. Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
Qualifications
- BComm Degree
- Successful completion of articles (SAIPA advantageous).
