Business Analyst

A law firm based in Sandton is seeking a Business Analyst to join their Data & Analytics teams.

Role Summary / Objective

The Business Analyst is expected to possess advanced analytical capabilities, a comprehensive understanding of systems, and expertise in optimising business processes. This position is well suited for an individual with experience in collaborating with finance teams and a comprehensive understanding of financial systems and data integration within enterprise architecture. Responsibilities include documenting and analysing business processes, contributing to process reengineering initiatives, and ensuring that systems and workflows effectively support the organisation’s strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to)

Business Process & Systems Analysis

• Document and map current financial business processes and data flows across systems and departments.
• Identify inefficiencies, gaps, or bottlenecks in workflows and propose improvements.
• Maintain up-to-date models of how financial data moves through the enterprise, supporting architectural visibility.
