Responsibilities
The main responsibilities (but not limited to) : Developing, designing, implementing and maintaining processes and reporting for ongoing measurement of business performance. Performing statistical modelling and setting up business projections, stress testing and scenario analysis based on the analysis of experience and reporting thereof.
Upon the collection of this information, reports need to be compiled and presented. Evaluating and improving processes by identifying problems, coming up with solutions and implementing changes. Designing and overseeing credible statistical tests to determine possible avenues of future expansion and improvements to current product offerings / processes. Assisting with financial calculations relating to commission, royalties and other financial administration. Managing ad‑hoc data queries and reporting. Coordinating inputs and reporting for strategic projects. Coordinating maintenance of data pipelines required for Actuarial outputs.
Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge
3+ years of work experience in either an actuarial, statistical or engineering environment. Financial modelling experience. Proficient SQL skills (preferably PostgreSQL). Capable of coding in R. Proficient user of MS Office. Capable of coding in VBA. Capable of creating Power BI reports.
