Role : AI / ML Engineer

Location : Remote (Western Cape, South Africa)

Salary : R85,000 per month (Negotiable, based on experience)

We’re looking for a talented and driven AI Engineer to join our client’s dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and operationalizing cutting-edge AI solutions that form the core of our AI-Enabled Landing Zones for a diverse range of clients.

Responsibilities

• Design & Strategy : Develop AI strategies and roadmaps tailored to client business goals. Design scalable and secure AI architectures on cloud platforms like Azure and AWS.
• Development : Build and optimize end-to-end AI / ML workflows, including data ingestion, feature engineering, model training, and evaluation using Python and frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Deployment (MLOps) : Operationalize models using modern MLOps practices. Leverage tools like Databricks, Azure ML, Kubernetes, and Docker to ensure reliable, production-ready deployments.
• Continuous Improvement : Monitor, maintain, and retrain models in production, incorporating feedback to ensure ongoing value and performance.
• Collaboration : Work within Agile Scrum teams alongside Cloud Consultants and Engineers to ensure seamless integration and delivery of high-quality, value-driven solutions.

Please Note : This is a remote position; however, the successful candidate must be based in the Western Cape and be willing to travel to George (Garden Route) on a quarterly basis for key meetings and collaboration.
