Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Information Technology Manager located in Johannesburg. The Information Technology Manager will oversee the Group Technology departmental functions, ensuring the smooth operation of IT / OT services, infrastructure, and systems. Key responsibilities include managing IT / OT staff, developing IT / OT policies and best practices, ensuring IT / OT security and compliance standards, and coordinating IT / OT projects. The IT / OT Manager will collaborate with all departments and divisions to identify and fulfill their technology needs, priorities and delivery timelines. Group Technology serves the entire Eskom Holdings with complex state-of-the-art technology solutions and services 24 by 7, 365 days per annum.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of IT / OT operations, systems, and infrastructure management
• Experience in developing and implementing IT / OT policies and procedures and frameworks
• Proficiency in network and data security best practices
• Excellent project management and leadership skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders
• Relevant certifications such as ITIL, PMP, and CISSP
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• Experience in the energy or utilities sector is a plus
