Compensation & Benefits Consultant Africa

Job Description

Responsible for the administration and support of Oracle’s compensation and benefits programs regionally or by country. Create principles to guide the design and application of compensation & benefits programs. Provide guidance on complex compensation & benefits questions and develop onboarding / training materials on compensation & benefits programs, policies, and practices. Handle complex inquiries from HRBPs. May be assigned as Compensation Business Partner to a Line of Business. Design benefits policies and administration procedures, select vendors, prepare cost projections, seek approval, and implement new / changed benefits affecting major countries. Lead the implementation of annual open enrollment and other regular Benefit programs. Lead a wide variety of departmental projects. Resolve escalated employee eligibility and claim issues. Lead the periodic review of the Compensation & Benefits policies, procedures, communications, and documentation to ensure up-to-date information and relevance. Identify problem areas and provide recommendations for process improvement. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Career Level : IC4.
  • Minimum 8 years broad-based compensation and / or benefits experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred).
  • Strong customer service and computer skills.
  • Experience in Excel, including building analyses and models.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and adept at multitasking.
  • Flexible and adaptable in a fast-moving environment.
  • Strong project management skills, ability to create project plans and move teams through each step of the project successfully.
  • Data-driven, highly organized, and also able to think creatively.
  • Other minimum or preferred qualifications may apply based on the job.
