- Experience : 5+ years experience in social media and digital marketing.
The candidate will have the following responsibilities :
Social Media Management
- Create content plans that align with client briefs, schedule posts, and execute campaigns.
- Engage with the online community on social media accounts, design accounts on various
platforms, and oversee social media competitions.
- Track and report on the results of social media efforts.
Paid Advertising
- Allocate budgets appropriately for advertising spend.
- Create and design appropriate advertising campaigns.
- Optimise ad performance through monitoring and conducting audience research.
- Create, implement, and report on ad strategies, including remarketing.
Copywriting
- Research and write copy per client expectations, adapting the writing style to match each
client's tone.
- Perform SEO keyword research for articles and stay updated on digital and content
marketing trends.
Email Marketing
- Design and send emails using platforms like MailChimp, ensuring the content meets client
expectations.
- Track and report on email performance.
Websites / CMS
- Optimise web pages for SEO.
- Basic working knowledge of WordPress.
Project / Account Management
- Maintain professional communication with clients and account managers.
- Organise weekly status meetings with clients and prepare monthly activity reports.
- Manage client expectations and hours according to agreed retainer / project fees.
- Conduct industry research for clients and handle additional tasks as necessary.
- Tracking time and value for each client.
- Regularly create and update status reports for clients.
Research
- Incorporate in-depth industry research to gain a strong understanding of the client's field.
- Stay current with the latest trends in digital and content marketing.
- Share these trends with the team to keep everyone informed and updated.
Strategy
- Develop and execute three-month test plans, collaborating with a strategist to devise client-
specific strategies.
- Guide clients in making informed decisions.
- Formulate annual and quarterly strategy documents, outlining content pillars and goals for
growth, engagement, and content.
- Establish a monthly theme informed by insights from reporting and testing results.
Video
- Write scripts as needed.
- Come up with video ideas as needed based on appropriate platforms.
- Optimising video content for various omni-channel uses.
Influencer marketing
- Knowledge of influencer marketing campaigns is advantageous.
- Meltwater knowledge advantageous.
Additional Responsibilities :
- Budgeting, quoting and invoicing clients.
- Press outreach and follow-up.
- Staying up-to-date with digital marketing trends.
- Effective time management and tracking.
- Maintaining strong client relationships.
