Our client, a renowned leader in the mining industry, is seeking a highly experienced Winder Engineer. This is a critical leadership role responsible for ensuring the safety, reliability, and efficiency of winding systems across their shaft operations. Essential Qualifications & Requirements :
- BSc / B Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering OR S Engineering Diploma with completed P1 and P2 modules or an N6 Engineering Diploma
- A minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in commissioning, fault-finding, and conducting repairs on Winders.
- At least 3 years of proven managerial / supervisory experience
- In-depth knowledge of headgears, ropes and attachments, and shaft & loading arrangements
- Solid understanding of budget control and project management principles.
