Overview
Drainage Engineer – Field-Based — Location : Liverpool — Type : Permanent, Full-Time — Hours : Monday to Friday, 8 : 30 AM – 5 : 00 PM — Salary : £28,000 – £30,000 per year plus commission, OTE £38,000 pa
We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Drainage Engineer to join our growing team in a client-facing, field-based role. You’ll attend domestic and commercial properties, diagnose and resolve drainage issues, and represent the business professionally on-site.
Responsibilities
- Attend both emergency and planned drainage jobs
- Investigate, diagnose, and resolve issues using CCTV surveys, high-pressure water jetting, rods, etc.
- Carry out drain clearance, descaling, root cutting, patch lining, and minor excavations
- Liaise directly with customers to explain issues and solutions
- Identify and recommend additional work where appropriate
- Maintain strict adherence to health and safety procedures
- Contribute to brand reputation with excellent service and technical knowledge
- Take part in an on-call rota to support 24 / 7 service delivery
