Showroom Assistant - High End - Interior / Decor

Location : Bellville - Cape Town

SALARY : R10 000 - Plus Benefit's

Requirements.

Matric Certificate - Mandatory

Interior design, visual merchandising, retai l , is a plus.

1–3 years’ experience in retail, preferably in furniture , interior design , home décor , or luxury goods .

Skills

Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

Strong sales and product knowledge abilities.

Eye for aesthetics , color coordination , and interior styling .

Organized, with attention to detail and presentation .

Proficiency in POS systems , inventory software , and possibly design software (e.g., SketchUp, AutoCAD, or Roomstyler).

Comfortable working on weekends , holidays , and in a fast-paced environment .

Personal Traits

Polished, professional appearance and demeanor.

Passion for design and luxury furnishings.

Confidence to interact with affluent clientele and possibly interior designers or architects .

Duties.

Greet and assist clients in the showroom with a tailored, consultative approach .

Understand client needs and recommend suitable products .

Provide product specifications , pricing, and fabric / material options .

Follow up on inquiries, quotations, and after-sales service.
