Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical / Design Engineer with at least 5 years of experience to join our client’s team. The role involves designing and developing hygienic process equipment for the food & beverage industry, including tanks, pumps, piping, heat exchangers, dosing, and CIP systems. You’ll be involved from concept through to commissioning, ensuring high-quality, efficient, and compliant solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet with clients to discuss their requirements
- Create 3D models, engineering drawings, and technical specifications for process equipment
- Select materials (stainless steel, hygienic finishes) and perform engineering calculations
- Work with procurement, fabricators, and workshop teams to resolve design and manufacturing challenges
- Support quality control, commissioning, installation, and maintenance
- Maintain accurate documentation (drawings, BOMs, revisions)
- Recommend improvements for cost, efficiency, and reliability
