Job descriptionSuitable formal qualification will be an advantage. A minimum of 5 years in the flexible packaging industry. Ideally from estimating, production planning or procurement background. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Detail-oriented, highly accurate, organized working methods. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist the Financial Manager in sourcing packaging from pre-approved manufacturing sites globally.
- Evaluate and compare proposals and select the best option.
- Ensure that the best possible value is obtained by optimizing production and logistics efficiencies.
- Prepare and process purchase orders and ensure that all relevant documentation is accurate and complete.
- Monitor factory performance and ensure that all deliveries are made on time.
- Resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise with suppliers, vendors, or clients.
- Maintain technical master files on the ERP system.
- Create Product Specifications, master COC and DOC documents.
- Consult with Sales regarding client forecasts and updating the forecasting model.
