Job descriptionSuitable formal qualification will be an advantage A minimum of 5 years in the flexible packaging industry Ideally from estimating, production planning or procurement background Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Detail-oriented, highly accurate, organized working methods Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
Job Responsibilities
- Assist the Financial Manager in sourcing packaging from pre-approved manufacturing sites globally
- Evaluate and compare proposals and select the best option
- Ensure that the best possible value is obtained by optimizing production and logistics efficiencies
- Prepare and process purchase orders and ensure that all relevant documentation is accurate and complete
- Monitor factory performance and ensure that all deliveries are made on time
- Resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise with suppliers, vendors, or clients
- Maintain technical master files on the ERP system
- Create Product Specifications, master COC and DOC documents
- Consult with Sales regarding client forecasts and updating the forecasting model

R35,000-R40,000 CTC (Negotiable)
