Job descriptionAnywhere Posted byThis role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of customer master data, issuing VAT-compliant invoices for non-trade transactions, performing timely VAT reconciliations and declarations, and completing month-end reports (BS reconciliations and MJ checklists). The position also coordinates with cross-functional teams to conduct testing related to invoicing, VAT, and customer master data, while leading initiatives to automate VAT declaration processes and enhance master data governance to improve compliance and data quality.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESOperationsCreate, modify, and block / unblock customer codes in the system.Issue VAT e-invoices for non-trade transactions in compliance with Tax regulations and company policy.Perform VAT–TO reconciliation and prepare related reports.Prepare VAT declaration reports accurately and on time.Prepare BS reconciliation reports and MJ checklists monthly.Update due date of invoices based on approved requests.Coordinate with cross-functional teams to test processes related to invoicing, VAT, and customer master data.Support audit requirements and ensure timely responses to audit queries.ProjectsLead the automation of VAT declaration reporting to improve efficiency and accuracy.Maintain a comprehensive guideline for customer master data management.Implement AI initiative if any.WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FORQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Hands-on experience with e-invoicing and VAT declarations.ERP (SAP / Microsoft Dynamics), strong Excel / Power BI skills.CompetenciesIntegrity & ComplianceData, system & Process MindsetProblem SolvingTeamworkWHAT WE WILL OFFERFast Learning Curve : Experience multiple hands-on projects and build your core muscles in data analytics, financial analysis, and strategic thinking, especially in Corporate FinanceExclusive Training, Coaching, & Mentoring sessions from experienced manager networks, who are always eager to invest in young talent developmentCareer Development : Early exposure to future career opportunities in Unilever, including shortcut into the Unilever Future Leader Programme (UFLP)Winning Culture : Thrive in a company that combines business success with social and environmental impact.Unilever is an organisation committed to equity, inclusion and diversity to drive our business results and create a better future, every day, for our diverse employees, global consumers, partners, and communities.
