Job descriptionProven experience managing the full accounting cycle, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, general ledger maintenance, and fixed asset tracking. Demonstrated ability to contribute to and support month-end and year-end close processes, including preparation of financial statements and audit-ready reports. Proficiency in using one or more Accounting Software systems is essential. Previous experience with Syspro is a distinct advantage. Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, fixed assets, and tax compliance (specifically with SARS). Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a small, high-performing team.
Qualifications and Experience :
- A Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is essential.
- Professional registration or affiliation with SAIPA or SAICA is advantageous and will be considered a strong asset.
- A minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role.
