Food Technologist

Our client in the FMCG sector , situated in Tulbagh , is looking for a Food Technologist to join their team as soon as possible.

Responsibilities :

• Conduct research and development activities to create new food products or enhance existing ones, from concept to commercialization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Quality Assurance, and Production to ensure product specifications are met and projects are completed on time.
• Utilize scientific principles and techniques to formulate recipes, optimize processes, and improve product quality and shelf-life.
• Perform sensory evaluations and analyze data to assess product attributes and identify areas for improvement.
• Stay informed about industry trends, market demands, and regulatory requirements to inform product development strategies.
• Participate in pilot plant trials and production scale-ups, providing technical support and troubleshooting as needed.
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reports in compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.

Qualifications :

Area : Tulbagh

Salary : R20 000-R30 000 CTC per month
