Job Description
Reporting to the Construction Manager, the General Foreman will handle the following :
- Oversee and coordinate all on-site construction activities, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards.
- Lead and supervise site teams and subcontractors, maintaining steady progress toward project deadlines.
- Plan and manage material requirements, deliveries, and on-site usage to control costs and prevent delays.
- Conduct regular site inspections, addressing issues promptly to uphold quality and safety standards.
- Collaborate with the Site Manager, Project Manager, and Quality Control teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Monitor daily progress against programme timelines and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and inspectors, ensuring compliance with design, specifications, and contractual requirements.
- Support the handover process, ensuring all work areas are complete and ready for final inspection.
Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years experience in residential, commercial, or industrial construction
