SD Recruitment is hiring a proactive and creative Social Media & Digital Marketing Coordinator to support our marketing team in executing content-driven campaigns across multiple digital platforms. This role offers hands-on experience in social media management, content creation, email marketing, and digital analytics.
You will work closely with our internal teams as well as external stakeholders to help grow our online presence, strengthen brand engagement, and support business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management
- Plan, schedule, and publish social media content across platforms (e.g. Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Engage with followers and respond to comments / messages professionally and timeously
- Monitor social media trends and suggest ways to grow engagement and reach
- Track and report on social media performance using relevant analytics tools
Content Creation & Campaign Support
Assist in creating engaging and on-brand content for social media, blogs, email newsletters, and web pagesWork with the graphic designer and other team members to coordinate content creationEnsure all content aligns with the brand tone and visual identityEmail Marketing
Support the development and distribution of email campaigns and newslettersAssist in compiling mailing lists and tracking open / click ratesSEO, SEM & Web Optimisation
Assist with basic on-page SEO updates to ensure website content is optimised for searchSupport paid digital advertising efforts (e.g. Google Ads, social ads) if applicableAnalytics & Reporting
Monitor campaign performance and provide insights to support data-driven decisionsCompile monthly digital marketing reports to track KPIs and performance metricsResearch & Trend Monitoring
Conduct competitor research and market trend analysis to inform content and campaign strategiesStay up to date with digital best practices and innovationsCollaboration
Liaise with internal departments and external partners to coordinate marketing activitiesAttend client-facing meetings and events where necessaryEnsure consistent messaging and branding across all platformsMinimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related fieldAt least 1–2 years of experience in a digital marketing or social media roleExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong organisational and multitasking abilitiesProficiency in social media platforms and familiarity with basic digital marketing conceptsMust be comfortable with client-facing interactions when requiredMust have a valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicleWillingness to work flexible hours during peak campaign or event periodsThank you for considering a career with SD Recruitment!
