Your Role at impact.com : As the Global Accounts Payable Manager, you will be responsible for managing and enhancing a global Payables portfolio, focusing on accuracy and completeness of Bill processing and codification. You will lead an effective Accounts Payables team, ensure adherence to processes, controls and policies, and maintain strong relationships with vendors and stakeholders across the company.
What You’ll Do :
- Invoice / Bill processing – review and verify codification of vendor bills to ensure accuracy and compliance during the end‑to‑end cycle.
- Expense processing – accurately review employee claims, code for timely payments, and manage disputes and queries on specific claims.
- Payment processing – prepare and execute timely payments via various payment methods, using banking platforms and adhering to treasury and cash management controls.
- Reconciliation – reconcile accounts payable sub‑ledgers in line with accounting controls.
- Financial support – manage month‑end close controls and procedures in accordance with outlined timelines.
- Reporting – generate reports using ERP and vendor / employee systems, and consolidate accounts payable reporting packs for business submission.
- Process improvement – evaluate and optimize accounts payable processes for efficiency and accuracy, utilizing automation, AI, technology, and related resources.
- Vendor and stakeholder management – maintain positive relationships, effectively communicate process and control updates, and act as a solution provider to the business.
- Audits and compliance – ensure the team prepares and presents relevant audit samples and reports to adhere to financial controls and compliance.
What You Bring :
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration or equivalent experience.5+ years of experience leading an effective accounts payable team within a global organization.Proficiency with accounting principles and internal controls related to accounts payable (multi‑entity, multi‑currency, multi‑sub‑department preferred).Demonstrated ability to manage large volumes of bills, employee expenses and corporate credit card transactions (+2000 vendor bills per month and +2000 credit card transactions preferred).Project management skills to prioritize workload and manage complex projects with cross‑functional peers.Experience managing a global travel and entertainment policy and system (beneficial).Knowledge of best‑in‑class accounts payable target setting, goals and techniques for managing a team in a fast‑paced environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.Integrity, good judgment, and ability to handle highly sensitive confidential information.Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP) and ability to analyze large data sets.Benefits and Perks :
