Job descriptionCA (SA) or equivalent qualification with 8–10 years’ experience in a senior finance or accounting leadership role. Demonstrated strength in financial reporting, forecasting, modelling, and governance. Strategic thinker with sound commercial acumen and the ability to influence executive decisions. Skilled in building and maintaining relationships with both internal stakeholders and external partners. Strong analytical capabilities and a data-driven approach to problem solving. Previous exposure to rewards, loyalty programmes, or multi-partner environments will be advantageous.
JOB SPEC – HEAD OF FINANCE
Client - RTT
Our client is an established, fast-paced organisation in logistics is seeking an experienced finance leader to step into a key interim role. The opportunity to operate at a senior level, driving financial strategy, governance, and commercial decision-making within a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.
What you will be doing :
- Oversee all financial management activities, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and profitability analysis.
- Develop and maintain robust financial reporting frameworks ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with business objectives.
- Lead accounting operations and implement effective policies, governance, and control structures.
- Partner with senior management to support strategic decision-making and long-term planning.
- Manage financial negotiations and commercial relationships to optimise program profitability.
- Design and execute revenue growth strategies through effective financial insight and analysis.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate financial and operational risks.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operational, sales, and technology teams to ensure financial alignment and accountability.
