This role involves designing and implementing engaging activities for our residents with dementia, focusing on stimulating their minds and encouraging social interaction.As a Programming and Activities Assistant, you will work closely with our Harbor Care Director to develop programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents.

You will lead group activities, provide one-on-one support, and encourage residents to participate in daily life.Our ideal candidate has a strong understanding of aging and disability issues, with experience in developing programs for elders and individuals with disabilities.

They possess training and knowledge in recreational activities and Alzheimer's and related dementias.The successful candidate will demonstrate a high level of confidentiality, coordinate multiple tasks efficiently, and maintain a positive attitude under pressure.

They will also be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and residents alike.
