Work with a team of dedicated and experienced Seating Specialists and expand your knowledge-base into the ever-growing field of seating, positioning, and mobility.

You will have the opportunity to work with children, adults, and a variety of disabilities, as well as learn useful business skills.This position involves some out-of-office work in Rehabilitation units and Hospitals.Job Offered : Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist - Wheelchair and Seating SpecialistDate available from : 1 June - 1 July Location : 14 Hely Street, Maitland, Cape Town.Job Requirements : B.OT or BSc Occupational Therapy or BSc PhysiotherapyClinical experience in a Physical Rehab setting is an advantageSeating knowledge and experience is an advantage but not essentialBasic Wheelchair Course attendance essential.

Intermediate Wheelchair Course preferable.Registration with HPCSA and other relevant statutory bodiesDriver's licenseSkills Required : Fluent in English and / or Afrikaans, with good report writing skills.

African language an advantageAbility to relate professionally, with self-confidence and ability to deal with demanding / difficult clientsAbility to work under pressure and manage high volumes of workWillingness to learn, flexibility, and good networking are all key for this positionProven ability to structure work independently and work under pressure in a small teamGood computer skillsRemuneration : Negotiable, in line with clinical experience.
