Responsibilities :

Developing, with the Operational Management, corrective measures of areas of noncompliance identified during evaluations and audits.

Assisting and advising Management on environmentally related trends and legislation.

Conducting environmental audits at operational level.

Conducting induction and environmental awareness training within Dudfield.

Contributing to triple bottom line initiatives.

Conducting research of environmental related information.

Environmental input into operational aspects relating to the setting of operational strategy, mining, processes, rehabilitation.

Legal responsibility appointment (water, waste, NEMA).

Facilitating awareness of the relationship between environmental risk and short-term strategies that may affect long-term environmental objectives and sustainability.

Representing Management as a Representative for ISO 14001.

Experience and Qualifications :

B.Sc. Environmental or Natural Sciences / Degree in Environmental Management.

Five years’ experience in a mining or industrial / manufacturing environment.

Valid Code 08 driver’s license.

Must be declared medically fit after medical examination.
